First off, thank you everyone for your generous donations and the emails of support. We appreciate them very much – you guys rock.
Here’s a list of some of the recent media reports about the campaign:
- TV3 Sunrise show, with video
- Radio NZ – Morning Report show [direct link to audio]
- Stuff.co.nz article
- There is a discussion going on on the RadioLive website
- TVNZ.co.nz article
- StopPress article
- Others? let me know in the comments please…
I’ll be talking on RadioLive at sometime just after 12:30pm today. Also, I’ll be on TVNZ Close Up tonight talking about the campaign.
Thanks again for all the support!

Ha. The Stuff article under ‘odd stuff’.
The volume of donations & support suggests that it’s not that odd at all.

Damn, I guess I’ll have to watch some TV tonight.
@Craig. Yeah, I noticed that as well.

Great stuff! Good luck on Close Up tonight.
I think it’s possible the target will be reached today! Really shows how much this sort of campaign is needed in NZ.
Go you good things!

The placing of the article under the Oddstuff section on Stuff irked me enough to send them an email politely asking them why they did that. I don’t expect a response but on the off chance I get one I’ll be posting it here.

Hi. I picked up the news about the campaign from the Yahoo Xtra site.
This is a little serendipitous because I spend a fair amount of time on the Religion and spirituality section of Yahoo! Answers.
Debating theists, particularly fundies, is more fun than you can shake a stick at. Particularly young earth creationists that try to tell me that T rex was a herbivore. ROFL
